Most Agents Start With Their License. Alicia Started on the Inside.
Before Alicia Harris built her own client base, she spent more than a decade working behind the scenes of real estate transactions. That experience shaped the way she represents clients today: prepared, direct, detail-oriented, and always thinking a few steps ahead.
A Different Kind of Real Estate Experience
For more than 13 years, Alicia worked inside real estate as a licensed assistant and transaction coordinator across California and Texas, including experience with Compass and Sotheby’s.
She saw transactions from a perspective most clients never see. Contracts under pressure. Inspection issues. Disclosure questions. Financing delays. Negotiations that changed the outcome of a deal. And the countless details that have to come together between an accepted offer and closing day.
That experience taught her how to recognize risk, ask better questions, anticipate challenges, and stay calm when a transaction takes an unexpected turn.
Today, those lessons are put to work for every Harris Homes Realty client.
Alicia doesn’t expect clients to understand every contract clause, market shift, inspection issue, or financing milestone before they begin. Her role is to explain what matters, help clients weigh their options, and make sure they understand the decisions they are making.
Real Estate With Your Financial Future in Mind
A home is where life happens, but it is also a significant financial asset.
For buyers, that means thinking about affordability, equity, location, resale potential, and long-term value alongside bedrooms and finishes.
For sellers, it means protecting the equity already built through strategic pricing, thoughtful marketing, strong negotiation, and careful management of the transaction.
For investors, it means evaluating properties through the lens of cash flow, appreciation, tenancy, risk, and portfolio goals.
A Financial Perspective Without Losing Sight of the Person.
Alicia brings that financial perspective into the conversation without losing sight of the fact that every client’s circumstances are personal.
Why Harris Homes Realty
Harris Homes Realty was named in honor of Alicia’s late father, who helped shape her belief in homeownership, family, and legacy.
That story is personal, but its influence on the business is practical: treat people’s money with care. Be honest even when the answer is difficult. Do the work thoroughly. And build relationships that last beyond closing day.
It is why Alicia approaches each transaction with a strong sense of responsibility. Clients are trusting her with a major financial decision, and she treats that trust accordingly.

Houston Knowledge That Goes Beyond the Listing
Greater Houston is not one market.
Neighborhoods and suburbs can differ significantly in pricing, housing stock, commute, development, amenities, market activity, and future growth.
Alicia takes the time to research and explain the areas her clients are considering so they can make decisions with a fuller picture of both the property and the community around it.
